In recent months, Amish people have seemingly disappeared, leading many to speculate as to whether or not they actually exist or have existed. Surprisingly, as we’ve found through an extensive investigation, they never have.

According to expert Amish historian and TikTok enthusiast Jedediah Jedediahson, Amish people were first created as a myth to scare children away from technology.

We did some fact-checking by talking to some “Amish people” and found that Jedediahson is mostly correct. They declined to comment on the record, but we know the truth.

“So, the next time you and your friends are out and someone calls you ‘crazy’ or ‘stupid’ for thinking Amish people are myths, don’t be sad,” Jedediahson said. “I’ve been there. You just have to know that you’re right.”
