Thursday evening, a girl with oddly specific titles for her Spotify playlist, 18, was named the prime suspect in a 2019 murder of four that took place in Los Angeles.

LAPD report that her Spotify playlist names led them to her. Names like “songs to listen to when you’re going 97 on the freeway fleeing the crime scene,” “jams for those times when you FINALLY finish plotting and carrying out the murder of four” and “bops that remind me of that time I killed an Inglewood family lol” eventually caught up to her.

A statement from her family read the following: “we are deeply disappointed to have raised a daughter that would get caught for a crime based on her Spotify playlists’ names.”
