Man confuses TikTok with watchmaker dating app, is ‘mildly entertained’

Lester Bumpkins, a recently-divorced watchmaker from Missouri, rarely makes mistakes. This past Monday, however, Bumpkins mistakenly downloaded TikTok, assuming it was a dating app for fellow watchmakers.

“I was hoping to get back in the dating game ever since Sandra and I split,” Bumpkins said. “Imagine my surprise when opened the app and saw a bunch of 14 year-olds dancing.”

While he was slightly disappointed at first, Bumpkins says he will keep the app on his phone for undisclosed purposes. He says he is “mildly entertained” and has spent the past four days straight scrolling through the app.
